I was hoping somebody could help me, I have Addison's Disease (for the past 22yrs) and Hypothyroidism (for the past 11 years) along with Hypoparathyroidism.
When my I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism I was put on thyroxin and this worked wonders, I started to feel well again, not tired and the weight I had unnaturally gained, started to come off and I was back to my normal weight.
The past few months the symptoms of hypothyroidism have returned and I have gained a stone and a half. I have had my thyroid checked and it is within the normal range however I know something is not right.
I have read alot about T3 and know that it is prescribed in the USA and other European countries, and there is a synthetic T3 and also Armour (natural). I really want to try this however my Endo will not let me however my GP has said that she would if she had somee guidance on dosage as the thyroid and adrenal glands both play an important part.
Does anyone have Addisons and Hypothyroidism and is taking T3? If so I would love to hear from you with regards your dosage and how it affects you?

Did your doctor ever give you any information on why you would have multiple endocrine issues? Mine hasn't so I am researching as to why this is happening. They just keeping adding to my list of ailments with no source. I am very frustrated.
