I know there are a lot of us here who have a special furry friend... whether it is a cat, a dog, or even a deer, they all hold a special place in our lives. I don't know if anybody has seen this, it brought some tears to my eyes.

The link is to a video that was taken shortly after the disaster in Japan... it is spoken in Japanese but below the video it is translated into English.

We all know that a dog is mans best friend... but this film shows a dog is also a dog's best friend...

Oh man!!! that was unbelievable......that doggie staying by his buddy......ya know, i do really love the creatures more than most people......that really moved me......had that other doggie been abandoned he may have died, but his lil buddy kept him with hope....

leave it to U, Dave, to find something so touching and loving as this....

How heart breaking Dave..... wow.... every day I become more aware just how much "emotion" the animal kingdom possesses. So very moving, thanks for sharing. When these types of natural disasters occur - it is so challenging for me to grasp the "purpose" or presence of HP. So difficult to understand, absorb. As well though, my gratitude deepens, for my own stability, safety and abundance of blessings.

On a side note... I saw my deer family tonight.... and like Rosie, I love them more than some people I know. Funny, I relate to them. I've learned how to earn their trust. To take time, be patient, not move to quick which spooks them... I am like a slow motion film in their presence.... keep myself at their level by squatting etc. And when we finally get to the point when I can look them in the eye and babble like they are my babies...well, there are not many things more rewarding in life to me. I do take care to make sure I do not "tame" them, rather, provide my "burnt offerings" of apple to somewhat compensate for "encroaching upon their territory." Tonight I praise my HP and give thanks for the blessing of nature and the beautiful creatures that bring humanity such love and joy.

Tears of sadness, joy, relief and awe ran down my face when I saw this. I was deeply affected by it. I was afraid to watch it at first, but what a beautiful uplifting moment in the most devastating of circumstances. Heartbreakingly touching. I have to say the cry did me good - released alot of pressure. I pray for the people and animals of Japan. It has touched me deeply.

Yes I have seen this on FB as well... Very Emotional thing to see... Being the "Proud" owner of 3 of my Own, it Def. makes me Love them for who they are, they are my "Other" Children, and I know would do the same for each other... What a Great Piece of Footage, Many would have looked over it, so glad that they were Found :0)
