I'm glad you made it back safe and sound. And sane. Airports, I have found, are a great place to practice reminding yourself that we are not in control of anything except how we react. And boy, do they make you practice.
But very glad you made it through, and nose over toes this time. Try and keep it that way. I missed you!

That was Quite an Adventure... And Kuto's to You for Working your Program so Gracefully...I know for me, i tend to Do BETTER in more serious cituations and have my Melt Downs on the Little things... Funny isn't it...
I have never had the chance or need to fly as of YET! and My Husband has but refuses to do so again, but I have not given up Hope! I have been from the Tip of the East Coast to the Very bottom of Key West, and Always had Wheels of Some kind under my butt... Never by Air...

On a note I sent to some friends, if you really want to feel powerless... go on a flight... your life is in the hands of a stranger... a stranger who HP put there... then with missed flights and things like that you meet other folks who share the same frustration... yet deal with it in different ways and then you also meet folks who are just full of compassion and trying to help as best they can and through it all the feeling of being powerless is quite empowering...
May this year bring you many many blessings!
God! I can't wait to be old and have an excuse for being curmudgeonly!!!!!!
