On the thread about Karens jitters she mentions singing.  I have heard her sing.  You see when we first starting talking we shared some of our interests with each other. 

One of the first things Karen sent me was a song in which she was singing.  I was just totally shocked with the beauty of her voice.  After I had it for awhile I asked her if I could I could make a video to it.  And she agreed.  In the video I identified her as a recovery friend but I did not break her anonymity.

After reading the responses in her thread I asked her today if I could put a link to the video and say this is Karen singing.  Karen is extremely shy and for her to agree shows me how much she trusts us. She likes to remain anonymous.

So everybody here is a gift for you.  A simple video I made to the beautiful voice of Karen.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I think I am gradually coming out from under the duvet - reading such comments had a profound effect on me - just the kindness and loveliness of them all. I went bright red and really wanted to hide under the duvet...... *smiling*!!!! Oh dear! I'll never change!!!! They are just so lovely - THANK YOU. (((HUGS)))

Karen, how lovely, you have a very moving, powerful voice! Such a special gift! But then again, you deserve to be so blessed! Thanks for allowing Dave to share with us, I feel very priveleged.

*smiling* Thank you everyone! I can't tell you how lovely it has been to read those comments. It has been especially uplifting since I have had a nightmare time with my very critical nasty bitter twisted mother. Will post on it! Am just utterly exhausted by her.
((Dave)) a duvet is from what I can work out in American - a comforter or a continental quilt? Does that help? EEK! Not sure.
