Hi all!! It has been awhile since I've been on....Lot's of computer issues I've been dealing with in addition to lot's of "other" things going on that has prevented me from taking the time to check in. It's funny though......I've never actually met any of you, but I miss you all as if I've known you for such a long time.

Thinking a lot lately about my childhood and some of the things I experienced as a result of my alcoholic dad. Through therapy, I am really getting a better understanding of why i am the way i am. As a child, I did not have the choices or the power to change my situation. But, now as an adult, I do!! Seems so easy a concept....but yet, i still find myself struggling with it. It's like I'm on automatic pilot sometimes......just kind of going through the motions of what I've been programmed with for so many years until something inside me says, "wait a minute!!...you don't have to do things that way anymore!!" "You are an adult!!....You make the decisions now in the way that is best for YOU!!" All I can say is.....Ahhhhh.....the freedom I have now!!!! It's a wonderful thing!!!
