After 30 plus years wearing Tena Slip adult nappies, my NHS trust says they will no longer supply me the Tena Slip Maxi Active Fit and I am now being supplied two different adult nappies from ID Slip. Maxi at night and Extra plus for daytime. I have found them to be very absorbent but my issue is that I am still quite active despite a spinal injury and they don't stay up as I find the rise at the back is too low. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks.

There are adult diapers from Northshore or Rearz which could help in your case as they have a quite big absorbency and the absorbent material goes high up in to the back.
How about wearing plastic pants with a higher waist?
They are very good in keeping even thicker diapers in place and the higher back helps when sleeping on the back.

I think he's in the UK so Northshore or Rearz probably isn't available there?
Unless cloth backed diapers have an elastic area at the tape I think they all loosen and sag with activity, although I've never tried any of those you mention I'm assuming they've just got Velcro tapes with no elastic?

Dear Dragonfly and Drawer, thank you for your replies. I am indeed in the UK. I’ve avoided wearing plastic pants over them as they get very hot and sweaty, which rather defeats the purpose of the breathable cloth backed nappies. What I have found is some Velcro fastening PUL nappy covers and so I wear those over the ID Sip nappies. They help keep them up, absorb any slight leaks and don’t get too hot. Just a bit of a faff and makes everything a bit bulkier but I will just persevere and no doubt get used to them.
