Feeling Alone and Frustrated with my Incontinence.

Hello Everyone,

 

I know I've brought this up before, but I just get embarrassed and feel alone on some days. I also don't know if people see my posts as they get older on here as I didn't see many replies.

 

I am 28 and still wet the bed at night and have problems with my brain getting the signal to go to the bathroom during the day. I often don't know until it's too late. Even though setting an alarm helps, I still have to wear GoodNites (pull ups) during busy days or NorthShore Supreme medical diapers at night. I've basically had this problem my whole life and got more embarrassed after high school when the pull ups stopped working and I had to switch to bulky medical diapers at night.

I know it's not my fault since I have a lot of medical conditions that affected my development. (Hydrocephalus, brain bleed from being born premature, spine/nerve issues) I also have Autism and Tourette's Syndrome, but I just feel like I'm the only one.


Is there anyone else with similar experiences?

I appreciate everyone in helping me feel less alone in dealing with my medical conditions.

I am here....I wet my bed well into my twenties myself.....it is an isolating thing....I am sorry your struggling....I am now 63 and the problems I have now are result of surgery to remove kidney stone.....I now wear a diaper almost always....except at night....I do not have the bed wetting issue I have the lack of control issue when I have to go....I do keep a urinal next to my bed in case the need is immediate

    I recently heard a great 2007 song the other day, "Falling Slowly" because it popped up in my newsfeed, accompanied by the sad news that the  male singer, Glen Hansard, just died in a motorcycle accident.  I learned that the song won an award and was featured in an indie movie called Once. I just watched it, and it's really good.  They made it in 3 weeks on a $100,000 budget. It's streaming on...
