I find the nylon taffeta ones to be very good over cloth diapers but nothing over a disposable

I grew up wearing vinyl over my cloth diapers. I can't we as r disposables without them leaking

I normally wear the GaryWear Active Brief during the day and sometimes at night. The other times at night I don't wear anything over my diapers.

We tried cloth diapers and rubber pants. I didn't like that. We still have that stuff. But have not used in several years. I just use disposable briefs

I have never worn waterproof pants. In 2013 I had an accident causing a spinal injury, paralysis below my chest, spasticity and double incontinence. My incontinence is dealt with by bowel evacuations by nurses on alternate days and by a suprapubic catheter. Only rarely do I pass urine via the usual route.
I wear a pad all the time. These are available in many shapes and sizes and with different absorbencies. I wear Abri San Premium 6 (approx. £10 for 34) ref:9378. These are for moderate to heavy incontinence with an absorbency of up to 1,600 ml. Overall, mine measure 63x30cm. The absorbent part is about 55cm. in length and 18cm. wide, widening to 25cm at the front and back. Inside are two elasticated expanding pockets about 2.5cm.deep 18cm. apart extending the whole length of the absorbent area to prevent spillage. The absorbent area is surrounded by a strong margin 2.5cm. wide for gripping to adjust the position of the pad.
The pad is held in place by unisex net fixation pants - Abena Abri Fix large (from £3 for 5) ref:9251 or Allanda iD Expert Ultra Large about £6 for 25. Nurses and carers refer to them as knickers, pants or nets. They are similar to women's full-sided net briefs without gusset; because they are high waist and stretchy they can be pulled up past my navel. They can be washed many times and last more than a month. They tend to be tight around my groin and often the leg band digs into the area between the top of my leg and my pubic triangle: so I buy a size larger than what would appear to be my size from my waist measurement.

I wear plastic pants. They come in various colours and beautiful prints and keep my bed and clothing dry. They also fit over thicker diapers and help keeping the padding in place.

There is a new material used for diaper covers called TPU,I noticed they are available on Temu.

I have my clients in cloth or disposable diapers but to ensure there is no leak or smell I always put waterproof pants on top. They are usually high waist snap-on plastic pants. They are made of white plastic which fully encloses the waist and leg openings. Some other pants have colours and even prints which they often like the most.

As a lifelong bedwetter, I have always worn cloth diapers with plastic pants at night. I also wear this combination when at home during the daytime, but when going away from home, I will wear disposable diapers and will wear plastic pants over those as well.

I wear mylesta nylon pants over my nappies

Having worn Tena Slip Maxi Active Fit adult nappies for as long as I can remember to manage my incontinence, my NHS trust recently said they would no longer supply them. Instead I now get provided ID Slip adult nappies. These are soft backed not plastic backed and don’t stay up when dry let alone wet. As a result I have had to find something to wear over them. I did not want to wear plastic pants as that defeated the object of having a breathable nappy. In the end I found some PUL nappy covers. They are Velcro fastened and have a soft absorbent lining, which also helps catch any minor leaks. They are very quiet and comfortable but it does make everything a bit more bulky.

I love the nylon taffeta diaper covers, they have the coverage i need, and keep the leaks from my diapers in.
