IN MY LIFETIME I HAVE MADE MANY CHOICES THAT I KNEW WAS NOT GOD'S PLAN FOR ME. YES GOD DOES FORGIVE. BUT AS YOU SAID, WE STILL HAVE TO PAY THE CONSEQUECES FOR THE CHOICES WE MAKE.

MY DESIRE WAS TO BE A MINISTER OF THE GOSPEL. BUT BECAUSE OF THE CHOICES I MADE; I PAID THE PRICE OF NOT FOLLOWING GOD'S PERFECT WILL FOR ME. AFTER WE HAVE REPENTED AND ASKED FORGIVENESS; GOD WIIL USE THE PATH WE HAVE CHOSEN FOR OUR GOOD.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT LIVED THE LIFE GOD CHOSE FOR ME; HE IS STILL USING ME FOR HIS PURPOSE AND PLAN.

As much as we would like, you can never make a choice without having a consequence tagging along, either good or bad. But if you are sincere and humble in your heart when you have made a bad decision or choice that was directly against God, he is not a God that would lie and will forgive your sin "as far as the east is from the west". That is one of those things that is hard to wrap our brains around. If we come to him and ask for repentence, he will NEVER take any stance other than to stand there with his arms wide open and welcome you back. While apparently there are some negative consequences to the choice you made, God knew you were going to make that choice long before you even made it and not forgiving you would be going against his nature and character. The fact that you even feel convicted is evidence that the Holy Spirit is working to bring about your reconciliation wtih God. It only takes a prayer and a turning away from the sin. That is what true repentence is all about. Making a 360 degree turn in the opposite direction and even if you do fail again, He will be right there if you just call on him. Hope this helps in some small way to bring you peace in your heart.

Yes, God does forgive us when we confess our sin. Scripture tells us He is faithful to forgive, but this does not mean you will not suffer the consequences of your sin. I personally think that after we have confessed our sins, God makes the consequences easier on us, but this may simply be because having our relationship with God restored makes everything easier.

There is only one unforgiveable sin and that is not it. If we ask forgiveness with a sincere heart, he will forgive us and also forget it.

Look at our children, they often do things they know are wrong when they do them. Do we as parents forgive them? How much more will our father forgive us?

Yes God forgives those mistakes and every mistake we make in life and every sin we commit, minus one - blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.


God however does not always remove or guard us from the consequences of our own actions or choices. This however, does not mean we are not forgiven or that God is angry at us or that God does not love us.
