God designed my new Robe
and it was given to me by my Lord
and Saviour Jesus Christ,
because of Calvary.
To receive my new Robe all I had to do
was accept Jesus into my heart.

That if thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart
that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
~ Romans 10:9 ~



My new Robe fits me perfectly
unless I become proud and self centered,
Then my new Robe gets too tight.
If I walk on by those around me with
my head high, my new Robe is too short.
When I walk humbly before my God
it fits me just right !



The shoulders in my new Robe
is large enough so I can help
my hurting friends
carry their heavy load.
The collar is made of
God's Grace and Mercy.
God don't treat us
as our sins deserve.

The LORD is gracious
and full of compassion;
slow to anger,and of great mercy.
~ Psalm 145:8 ~



The cuffs are small, there is no room
to hide hated, or hard feelings
toward my neighbors.
The pockets are huge, one pocket holds
my Love for My Lord and Saviour,
the other pocket holds love for
my Family and those I come
in contact with from day to day.



My new Robe has three buttons,
the buttons represent,
Faith, Hope and Charity.
I have to check my buttons often
so they don't get lost.
Love is to be like Christ !

And now abideth faith, hope, charity,
these three; but the greatest
of these is charity.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:13 ~



The lining in my new Robe
is made of God's forgiveness.
I have to keep it near at all times.
Jesus says, For if ye forgive men
their trespasses, your heavenly Father
will also forgive you:

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses,
neither will your Father forgive
your trespasses.
~ Matthew 6:14-15 ~



The belt of my new Robe represents,
God's kinda Love... God is Love!

And above all things have
fervent charity among yourselves:
for charity shall cover
the mulitude of sins.
~ 1 Peter 4:8 ~



The Material in my new Robe
is thick enough to keep me strong
when the storms of life beat upon me..
But not to thick that I won't feel the
presence of my Lord who guides
my life each and every day.



I like the color of my new Robe,
the color of Jesus' blood (RED)
I want my Robe to always reflect
the Love of Jesus to the world.
My Robe was especially made for me,
It is just my size.
I will need to wear it
all throughout my life..
It was made with Love.



No one can wear my Robe but me !
Let me tell you,
the best thing I ever did do..
I took off the old robe
and I put on the NEW !
Wear your new Robe daily
so others will always see
the Love of Christ in You!
When you reach the end of your rope
You will find the hem of His garment.
