I WOULD BE HONORED TO BE YOUR FRIEND AND TALK ABOUT HOW TO WITNESS TO PEOPLE ABOUT SALVATION.

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITNESSING BECAUSE OF FEAR OF REJECTION. THE BEST WAY TO BE A WITNESS OF CHRIST IS THROUGH YOUR OWN LIFE. SOMETIMES THE ONLY TIME PEOPLE WILL SEE CHRIST IS THROUGH THE WAY WE LIVE OUR LIVES FOR CHRIST. THEY WILL SEE THAT THERE IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT US AS BELIEVERS. THIS WILL OPEN THE DOOR MANY TIMES AS THEY WATCH YOU AND SEE THE LOVE OF JESUS IN US.

THE BEST WAY TO WITNESS WHEN GOD OPENS A DOOR IS JUST TELL THEM YOUR STORY OF GOD'S LOVE FOR YOU AND HOW YOU BECAME A BELIEVER IN CHRIST.

There will be many times when you will share Jesus with people or the principles of God with people only to have them look at you like you are completely crazy or they appear completely baffled at what you are talking about. Sadly, this is a completely normal part of witnessing. Best counsel...get use to it quickly, accept it, and keep on witnessing as God leads you.

GOD WILL OPEN DOORS FOR YOU TO WITNESS. WHE HE DOES. JUST TELL HOW YOU WERE SAVED. ONE PASSAGE THAT JESUS GAVE HIS DISCIPLES ABOUT WHAT TO SAY WHEN THEY WHERE IN A POSITION NOT KNOWING WHAT TO SAY.

Luke 12:11 "And when you are brought to trial in the synagogues and before rulers and authorities, don't worry about how to defend yourself or what to say,
Luke 12:12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said."

I think for each person it is different. For me, I have a lot of friends who are not sure if they believe in God, or who have lost their faith. I could choose not to associate with them, but then I remember what Jesus said when asked why he was spending time with the 'sinners' instead of those that believed in him and he answered 'they need me more'.. (that's not exactly how it is said in the Bible, but as close as I can get from memory)...

If we only spend time with other believers, in person, online .. where ever.. How is that leading others to God?
FOR ME and I speak ONLY for myself, it not MY job to judge anyone's path ... I hope and PRAY that if I can plant small seeds of the love of God and Jesus's love in someone's heart, then that seed will grow.
I do NOT believe in attacking someone who does not believe as I do. I feel it drives them away from accepting God. I feel God gives us each our OWN ways in which to do his work and if we listen closely we will know what our job is. Each of our paths may be very different..but it makes no one more or less important.

Sounds like you are on a wonderful journey to help others...

I wish i could tell you how to do this - i was always turned off by people who tried to witness to me. Most people i know are. They consider it intrusive. i was just not ready for Christ until the time was right for me. I feel i was like a fruit who had to ripen on the vine until the time was right. i agree with Roger that the best witness is often though your life. I know that there are some denominations that require one to witness. i try to be polite, but - i feel i have an awesome relationship with my God and don't need any assistance with that. When i wanted and needed more, i sought it, and found Roger and all of you good people here. God has also brought me f2f people who are bringing me closer to Christ.

What a great post! I find for myself,like Roger said. Let other people see the love of God in your life. It's almost infectious, they want some of what you have.Then God guides us from there.Praise God!
