I was struggling with the HP stuff and how to move past that block.
I was talking to my sponsor who asked me a few very simple questions after which they said to me there is your HP, you just told me about it. I looked at them a bit confused and said is that it? What no theological argument. My sponsor replied do you understand it and when I replied yes they said that is it. Is a start and you can build later. I used this as my HP and still do some 8 years down the track.
Not long after my sponsor had spoken with me about this, I shared at a meeting. After the meeting my sponsor asked me what the person had asked me to help them find my HP. I looked at my sponsor and said they were the person. My sponsor could not remember the conversation. They can recall what we spoke about before and after this discussion but they have no memory of speaking to me about the HP, whereas, I can still see the scenario as if it happened yesterday.
This is why today I still believe a sponsee's HP speaks through the sponsor if both parties are willing to be open. Even today I say things and I still have no idea where the response came from but seemed the 'right' answer. I know for positive that the response did not come from my peanut.

There have been many things said to me along the way that have stayed with me yet that person has little recall of saying it. Things that come through me too that I had no plan on saying.
I like a little mystery in my life!
I could do that, whereas I couldn't connect sometimes with an outside source. The woman I was created to be, is a power greater than myself, because if I actually measured up to that woman, I would never have ended up being the woman I was raised to be- a loud mouth, inconsiderate jerk- an active drunk.
I tend to believe I was created to be a recovering alcoholic though- because now I truly believe in a Higher Power which resides outside of myself, and from which I receive those constant God Shots. Being a recovering alcoholic means so much to me, because I have met some of the best people I have ever met, I have some of the best moments in the program, and I am learning how to do what I've always wanted to do- be there for someone else without having a selfish motive attached.
Sponsors are definitely what I heard of being called as "Gods with Skin." I know my HP speaks to me through K.
