and still going to a beginners meeting. The 7 o:clock meeting on sunday night at the baptist church in fairfield, concentrates on steps 1-2-3.

I am wondering if I should find a different meeting?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated!

Beginners meetings are the best I think Bob I have grown tired of Disgustion meetings....wheres as a beginners meeting on the first three steps is real easy to keep a focus with I think :) 1,conviction, 2,3 resolor ution('new focus) 4 thru 12 Action.... Easy Peasie:)) Hey group service as a Gsr , Dcm or Intergoup rep. also a option. ' Meet a different crowd at the area level :)) functions ....Service junkies Woot!!!!

The reason I go to meetings these days is to carry the message so I love beginners meetings as that is a good place to find newcomers to help.

Been going to beginners meetings for a long time now. Also Discussion meetings, step meetings, speaker and speaker/discussion, and traditions meetings. I love them all. No better way to reach a hand, and lend an ear.

Congrats!!!!!!!! That's so wonderful. I love that you go to a beginners meeting. I have to make it to the one we have here locally and will next week. thanks for the inspiration. Where better to carry the message?

n alot of ways I feel like I am still a beginner yet, I have grown emotionally thanks to others who have inspired me.

I really believe my Higher Power has placed people in my path at different times to inspire me and help me learn and grow.

I think life is full of miracles especially at the meetings if you just look around you during the meetings!

Yes! Bob I found the same type of people too !! And observation is a wonderful way to see yourself through your own 2 ears and 2eyes without any need to judge any gift your are given through paying attention. I am you and you are me has always seemed to even the emotional playing field I have going on in body and gives me a sense of Wow I sure needed to see that or hear that because in my heart of hearts it applies to me..where else I'm going to find a direct face to face means seeing my way clear with things I may not understand about myself .Chris used too call goose pumps or aha moments god bumps. Non duality is just that oneness:))) whether it be God, The Buddha or a beautiful sunset. It creates a opening to see and ponder why Im so lucky to see myself in others and be given the opportunity to grow:))

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
