One of the finest things about AA is the diversity of its membership.We come from all walks an stations of life. All types and classes of people are represented in a AA group. Being different from each other in certain ways, we can each make a different contribution to the whole.Some of us are weak in one respect, but strong in another, AA can use the strong points of all of its members and disregard their weaknesses. AA is strong not only because we all have the same problem, but also because of the diversified talents of its members. Each can contribute his part. Do I recognize the good points of all of my group members?

I love that Billy. With all the diversity in the rooms, I still feel like I belong. There is good in us all. :}

Good mornin sunshine....

I think the diversity is what makes it so great! People from all walks of life, from the Paris Hilton types to Desperate Housewives to the homeless all encouraging each other and in many cases, becoming friends.

We all share a common bond....the desire for freedom and a better way of life. The whole world could learn a thing or two from recovering alcoholics!
