I Spent e few hours at the local Hospital casualty unit (ER) Took someone with a suspected concussion.So had to wait the few hours that this procedure takes Whilst my friend was being looked after I went outside for some excercise and fresh air.It was a nice afternoon and I was relaxing on the late pm sunshine.One of the people who looked like she had been getting treatment wandered over to were I was sitting She sat down and initiated a conversation with the question "Do you thonk I'm ok to go home.I said something like The staff would be best placed to make that decision. We started to chat a little She was shaking quite a bit I asked if she was withdrawing from alcohol or drugs.She told me she was coming off alcohol and the hospitol had given her some librium.
I told her I to had been in a similar position I also told her a bit about AA I've done phone service for a few years so it comes quite natural to share a little ESH I knew without checking were the nearest meeting was friday evening and suggested that Sarah might go there I also told her of other meetings in the next few days Our conversation got cut short. She had to go back inside I only caught a glimse of her later

Who was ok concussed but no head injuries thanfully I reflected on my unexpected 12 step oportunity and felt I had not done enough I hadn't given her any phone numbers or written mtg addresses I know from my exp taking librium she probably wont remember any of our chat So I was frustrated and annoyed at my self Still am
Turns outtshe lives on my neighborhood I told her of the local mtg tuesday night She seemed to know the venue but As I said foggy head So not to optimistic to see her there Just wish I'd had a meeting list at least I'll keep a look out for her and must carry some meeting lists
