We found that as soon as we were able
to lay aside prejudice
and express even a willingness
to believe in a Power greater than ourselves,
we commenced to get results,
even though it was impossible for any of us
to fully define or comprehend that Power,
which is God.

There is that word willingness again. I remember the first couple of spiritual experiences I had VERY early on there was a power greater than myself and step2 was completed. Some here think it is God & some of us believe its are HP. The concept of whatever works for us on this site' aa friends' without all the opinions is very uplifting.

It took a while to get that willingness and it was tough to get it, but once I got it, I was pretty much willing to stand on my head and sing Yankee Doodle Dandy in Times Square if asked to do so... :)

It is truly amazing some things I "noticed" once I was willing to believe......and I do believe that "coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous".

I didn't have too much a problem with willingness, but the HP thing did my head in a bit lol. It is refreshing GJM to have a place to come where it dosn't matter how different we are, we care too much about each other to let that stand in our way of raising each others wings.
