Wow! I just realized this little group is no longer little and turned a year old just a few days ago!! I remember when it began. I remember being certain of it's success because of it's goals, and the members who wanted the goals realized. I am really proud of everyone, and the group itself for realizing the purpose and continuing to realize it.
I feel a little bad because I haven't participated as often as I've wanted to. However; I always do my best and so I am okay with it. That's one of the important goals realized for me personally.... Being okay with whatever my best is at any given moment. Accepting my limitations has been a struggle my entire life [hence the nick-name "Stubborn" by the time I reach A.A. ;-) ] but the physical limitations of the past 7 years have given me extra aggravation, as the level of physical restriction fluctuates in severity sometimes by the hour. All my work throughout the years in the program prepared me well for this experience. It truly has been as a road map for life. So happy 1 year & awesome use of unity to members consistently showing up to do the service work which keeps this group available 24/7.
