Instead of just saying "hi" and dropping change into the cup of the fellow who begs near our grocery store, I stopped to visit with him. I've learned his name and a bit of his story. Since I was going into the store, I asked him if there was anything he'd like. His face lit up and he requested some fried chicken thighs and potato salad from the deli. I brought out his requested items. I then got the warmest thank you that I've ever received.

Have done this so many times some hold up signs & I hand out food bags hot Coffee or Socks*Hats*Gloves*help feed the homeless etc it doesn't have to cost a thing to sit & talk or smile or give a hug to get to know someone makes you feel Awesome inside.
