Today I’m sharing 30 things that I think we — you and I — should practice saying yes to. These won’t happen every day, but when the opportunity presents itself, I don’t want to miss out. And I don’t want you to miss out either!
1. Going for a walk in the rain.
2. Reading one more book.
3. Asking for help.
4. Trying new things.
5. Baking something for a new neighbor.
6. Ice cream for dinner.
7. Making new friends.
8. Giving money to charity.
9. Having someone over for dinner.
10. Allow someone to say something without disagreeing.
11. Asking for forgiveness first.
12. Call an old acquaintance just to say how are you.
13. Sharing a smile with a stranger.
14. Family movie night.
15. Meeting a friend for coffee.
16. Playing one more game of checkers.
17. Swinging on the porch swing.
18. Let someone else have the last word.
19. Stopping to watch the sunset.
20. Getting up early to watch the sunrise.
21. Singing at the top of your lungs.
22. Doing nothing.
23. Getting to know the neighbors.
24. Impromptu dance parties.
25. Messy crafts and activities.
26. Camping out in the backyard. Or the living room.
26. Licking the spoon when baking.
27. Chocolate.
28. Making time to exercise.
29. Buy lunch for a co-worker.
30. A Sunday drive or walk.
