Summer is here, though in many places it still seems like spring. As the weather gets warmer, it's important to keep your fluid level up, or to stay hydrated. What are some of your favorite drinks for summertime?

I love Southern Sweet Tea at McD, but it has so many empty calories and bad for teeth, so am doing without more, or trying to adjust to unsweetened. Thank you for asking us!

SnailAway, you might like to try Lipton diet green tea, which is available in sizes of up to 1 gallon bottles at major supermarkets. It has zero calories and none of the aftertaste of other bottled teas. I am using it to transition from drinking diet colas to drinking bottled water. The tap water in San Diego tastes awful, so I am planning to start drinking bottled water this summer.

I drink anything I can get my hands on. I have recently started drinking energy drinks trying to boost my energy but its not helpiing my out of control diabetes.

Be careful with those energy drinks - drink no more than two a day, because there are risks associated with them, including cardiac arrest.

Not all bottled water is equal. I recently did a taste test of Arrowhead and Crystal Geyser brands of spring water. The Crystal Geyser tastes better and costs less.
