How To Make Money Outside A Regular Job

Whether you have a traditional job or not, there are additional ways to earn money that don't involve a forty-hour work week. Let's start a list of ideas so that we can all learn how to become more prosperous.

Like to hang out with animals?

-You can pet sit for people who may be going out of town or are out of the house for long periods of time.

-Walk dogs. Many dog owners don’t have enough time to walk their dog. Offer to do it for them for a fee.

-Wash and groom animals. This may require a permit or license in some areas.

Do you have books in good condition? Go to www.cash4books.net and type in the books' ISBN numbers (which you'll find on the back cover or on the copyright page in the front of books), and see if you can get cash for them. Complete the transaction online, print out a prepaid mailing label, pack up the books, and send them in. In just a few days you will receive either a check in the mail or a deposit to your PayPal account. You won't pay a cent - not even for postage. Scour thrift stores, second-hand shops, yard/garage sales, and ask your neighbors for books.

I have been thinking about this a lot. I tried baking and selling rusks and biscuits, but it did not go very well. I think the best way is to find out what needs people have, and then respond to that. Like with pet-sitting, house sitting, etc.

Pet sitting unless you know contracts, the rate you want to be paid, and what you want from the pet owners. I would do that but have no idea on contracts. It's been a long time since I've had a dog hence is why I want to volunteer at the animal shelters to regain the experience but I am volunteering at a library.

i need more ideas on making money outside of a traditional job. I don't have any money or tools to learn something new and implement the idea to sell and make money.

Cut people's hair. If you know how to cut hair, set up an impromptu hair cutting chair in the park or at your school. You might need permission for this and you should only do this is you can satisfy your customers or else you might receive a bad reputation.

House cleaning, you can pick your hours more or less with that one.
We have a local information news paper that is delivered once a week, you can earn delivering that.
Avon, also dont know if Avon has hit America? Its selling make up mainly.
Busking thats if your any good at singing or playing an instrument. You could always use buckets tho!
