A Life Skills Group Community Group
All are welcome to join our group. We're here to share advice, encouragement, and ideas on how to build better lives for ourselves. We can discuss all aspects of daily living, along with anything else that’s on your mind. Each of us knows a little, and together, we know a lot that can help us each to reach higher and go further in life. There's such a lot...
****I'm a mom.....I'm loaded with advice no one listens too......*****
****But I'm also a nurse....and get to teach about almost all things medical*****
There is one other major consideration with tattoos/body art and also with piercings: You run the risk of getting hepatitis, which is a serious debilitating or even deadly liver disease, for which there is presently no cure.
Best idea: Keep your body the way God and Nature intended for you to be, and leave the tattoos and piercings to people who otherwise have no personalities.
True, the teachers who were supposed to be responsible for educating you may have done a bad job and may have not taught you enough about language and math. They may have instead taught you about recycling, global warming, politics, homosexual culture, black culture, Latino culture, or other subjects that won't be as important in your life as your teachers made you think they would be. Fortunately, it's never too late for you to learn - on your own if you have to - about proper English and basic math. You can enroll in refresher courses at a college or learn for free on online websites.
Tolerance is probably the more important "skill". No professional workplace will tolerate racism or discrimination....and attitudes get picked up on fairly quickly. My ex is an engineer and they got rid of this one guy really fast....because no matter how smart you are...you HAVE to be able to get along with others.
