A Leaders Forum Community Group
A Leaders Forum is for Group Founders, Group Administrators, and anyone who is thinking about starting a discussion group on the Daily Strength Website. We discuss how to start a group, how to keep it growing, how to keep daily activity high, and other aspects of managing discussion groups. Would you like to change the world? If so, please come join our group!
Love and respect back atcha
There are so many good member groups out there with great themes it would be great to share information for members.
I guess you could say Beaumont was the one who started this idea by creating this group.
I will one day soon.
I am resuming my day, in other words, my last round before I log out.
I spend a good 8 hours minimum a day.
Some days, if I had an appointment the day before and couldn't spend my 8 regular hours, I will be backed up and need to do 11 hours the next day.
I respond to many by notification thru my hotmail account.
Some by message here, and hugs of course, I answer each and everyone I get, and not just hello, how are you.
Most messages or hugs, I have a member asking for advice on one side effect from their chemo treatment, or what to ask their liver doctor, or what the blood lab report means, ect...
I have been doing this for years now, Hep c advocate.
And it keeps me very busy, but at the end of the day, I feel like I have accomplished something big, and this is daily.
I kinda feel like I was given this illness for a reason, since to this day I do not know how I got sick, but today I am heal, CURED, and I continue to help those newly diagnosed, sort of a Servant of God.
I remember to well how scared I was once I got the diagnose.
So I know how they feel when they come in, not knowing where to start.
I give them that head start, by the time they go see their liver specialist, they know exactly what to ask, the tests, biopsy, eventually chemo treatment, or Alternative Medicine.
I will close for now and one day I will tell you when the DS Team approched me to be a Community Leader.
Love & Respect,
Mckenzie
One day at the time.
