A Laughter Club Community Group
We would like to invite you to join our group! A Laughter Club is for people who understand just how serious a matter humor is to one's survival and even to one's success in life. We share jokes, riddles, short stories, and other laughter-provoking thoughts. We have one simple rule: If you wouldn't say it to a child because it contains inappropriate...
Because it was too heavy to carry.

A man had finally saved up enough to buy his dream. He moved to Montana and bought a cabin along a river in a nice peaceful area. One day he was sitting on his front porch watching the sun make its way across the sky when a rough-looking cowboy rode up on a horse. "How do, neighbor." "Hello," said the man from his porch. "I'm from two valleys over, and I'd like to invite you to a real big party I'm throwin'," said the cowboy. "There'll be ropin' an' shootin', talkin' an' eatin', and dancin' an' fightin'. Mostly, it'll be a good time." Pleased at the invite, but a little unsure of himself, the man asked, "What should I wear?" "Well, mister, just between us, come as you are. Me an' you, we'll be the only ones attendin'."

There's an agricultural experiment station near where I live, and if you pay close attention driving by on a clear day, you might see the descendants of one of their experiments a few years ago, off in a far field. They figured out, you see, how to harvest beef without killing the cow, much reducing costs. What they did was breed them with grasshoppers, which produced a fine six-legged cow, and they could harvest one leg from each side with absolutely no detriment to the cow! Surely you read about it in the papers, right?
Everything went fine until they discovered all their specimens were escaping, because the fences were no longer high enough to keep them from jumping right over . . .
Why did the chicken cross the road?
It was too far to walk around.
Why do birds fly south for the winter?
Because it's too far to walk.
