Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens,
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens,
Brown paper packages tied up with strings,
These are a few of my favorite things.
Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels,
Doorbells and sleigh-bells and schnitzel with noodles,
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings,
These are a few of my favorite things.
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes,
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes,
Silver-white winters that melt into springs,
These are a few of my favorite things.
When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When I'm feeling sad,
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad!

being outdoors after the sun is setting enjoying a good book and my animals;
the color pink, in all shades;
animals, especially rabbits and cats;
ocean air and sunshine, the view of the sky, clouds, moon, sun through a second story window while lying down;
living on second floors; roof tops; timeshares and condos;
swimming, swimming pools and the sound and feel of the ocean;
travel, sightseeing and the open road before me;
music, dance, facials, manicures, pedicures, massages, saunas, jacuzzis, good senses of humor, easygoing people with kind spirits;
gourmet food, decent wine, grilled chicken, watching tv outside, pretty movies on a large screen, men;
if i don't have to wear a seatbelt i also love driving

Patterns and scissors and other cutting tools

Quilt shows quilt classes
A pair of good sewing glasses.
Quilt racks and quilt frames
And sewing machines

Beautiful fabrics in all colors and hues
And old lace that no body will ever use
Quilting is a hobby for me will amuse
There is no scrap that I will refuse
Cutting mat and many quilt rulers
And pen to make doodles
Pins in a pin cushion needles and thimbles
Rotary cutters they are amazing things

When the rain comes and the TV is blaring
When I feeling board and doom
I simply retreat to my sewing room
And revel in all of my favorite things
The smell of clean air
Home cooked food (oh & sushi, oh & ice cream) :::giggles:::
A good hug
A smile or simple kindness from a stranger
Time with family and friends

hanging with the family and friends

swimming
having a water balloon fight

squirting the kids w/ the garden hose
cuddling for hours on the couch

sitting in boatport with my flowers, bird bath and feeders with a cup of tea.
