We would like to invite you to join our group! A Laughter Club is for people who understand just how serious a matter humor is to one's survival and even to one's success in life. We share jokes, riddles, short stories, and other laughter-provoking thoughts. We have one simple rule: If you wouldn't say it to a child because it contains inappropriate...
Hey there, you! It's the silly season, and so I thought maybe we could share some of our favorite entertainment ideas with each other. Please try to list at least two, and up to as many as you wish; this is, after all, your Laughter Club!
Movies: Disney's "The Absent Minded Professor" (1961). Comedy, action, romance, science fiction, what more could you ask for? Flying rubber Flubber? Yes, it's got that, too! All ages appropriate.
Music/Video: Anything by the Australian group "The Wiggles." Listen, move about, and learn: "Hands and shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes!" Primary colors are the names for each of the Wiggle group members - can you name them? Ages two to 102.
Group Activity: Scrabble board game. Stave off alzheimer's and show off your intellectual prowess. Spell words and add numbers. Regular and deluxe editions. Are you ready for the National Scrabble Tournament? No upper age limit.
Solo Activity: It's go time! Get a pair of needle nose pliers and pull the soap scum covered tangle of hairs from the shower/bathtub drain. Oh, my gosh, look at how much faster the water goes down the drain. Whooo-hooo! Adult supervision recommended for those under age twelve.
So, what do you like to do for entertainment? Feed the ducks at the pond? Talk to the pigeons in the park? Rollerblading?

My children and I love to play Sorry and we like to play some of those card games like rummy and go fish. Afraid of srcabble...the seven year old might beat me. :)
Solo activity? I like to watch people with a pair of pliers get those hairs out of the drain. LOL... Actually when and if I do get solo time I read...mostly to keep up at work. Yes I am boring!
I also like to take my boys sightseeing. We live in Northern Arizona and between Indian Ruin, The Canyon, and some other awesome landscape we can keep busy. Does the fact that my two boys like to engage in some belching and farting matches while in the car count as fun?
