What an outstanding piece. Abusive parents are the prime contributors of sibling abuse/rivalry. When a sibling witnesses abuse of another by a parent it is a green light for that sibling to treat the another in the same way as.

I consider myself to be fortunate in that I had a loving mother and a selfish abusive stepfather, one taught me the right way, the other attempted to teach me the wrong way, but failed. Sadly I have five siblings who've failed to be so enlightened as me, and so the vicious cycle in their lives continues.
