A Child Abuse Survivors Group Community Group
We survived child abuse, but the pain still remains and so do the other effects which can last a lifetime. We are often unable to find adequate help, and we are seeking answers that can help us understand what happened so that we can go on to lead normal lives. (Please note that this is a group for child abuse survivors only. If you are a professional in the mental health...
I cooked a real nice meal that tasted great.
I politely told him that crackers are made from wheat which has gluten.
I don't intend to put up with any excuses from him about NOT KNOWING crackers have gluten either.
I plan to politely correct him in future.
I plan to politely stick up for myself from now on and never accept such behavior from others.
I am finally doing things that I really love to do.
I also refused to be baited by the moron who claimed that toast points were really crackers and blamed me for not including those in the no pre-dinner "bread" request before we even planned the outing.
Now tomorrow, I just have to stay calm while he plays the victim loudly asking everyone,
"Did you know that crackers are bread?"
AND
"Do you know if gluten is in crackers?"
It is how he maintains he superior attitude of himself.
I am going to politely tell him to stop.
Ask him to explain if he'd put up with that sort of word play if a scout got burned because he was "dancing" around the fire NOT running and jumping and wrestling.
Ask him if two boys wandered off and got lost together forcing a state wide person hunt. Would he accept that they left camp without permission and that's OK because they used the "buddy system"?
Lastly, if a boy was too tired to use bear precautions with foods. Would he just shrug it off when the bear found the camp and injured people to get to the food?
He can always answer with lies. But people will know who he is for real at least.
Today I went to an interview, saw a friend in the hospital and dealt with my feelings.
She pointed out that he is toxic, will never get it cause he's in own world
And I have to care for me enough to let it go and stop hoping it will ever be safe.
So I took care of me today, wrote out replies and comments for nex t time and wrote it off to learning to stand up for me!
