Look at the following with an honest heart and eyes.
Have you ever given him reason to doubt you?
Has he ever experienced another who gave him one or more reasons to doubt them?
If the answer is yes to either, he is acting on a learned response.
Now you must decide whether you have the courage to talk it out and resolve the behaviors, or let him know that you won't be part of his reality of it.
Anything less on either point, means you have to compromise yourself to some degree, to keep this "Boyfriend.
