Even on those days when you don't feel like getting out of bed, get up and get dressed. You'll feel better, and should the idea strike you, you'll be ready to go out and do something. Even if you stay at home, you'll at least be ready should someone come to your door.

Eat a healthy meal that includes vegetables (cooked or raw, your choice). I like brocolli and baby peeled carrots.

One thing that definitely helps me is to turn off the television and radio and do something. We are creatures of action by design, and sitting or laying around listening to and watching the media's eye view of the world can be depressing and anxiety-provoking. A steady diet of violence, bad news, people behaving badly, and all that goes on in our present day media isn't good for us. Try to limit your television watching and radio listening to just a few hours or less a day.

Gardening! Making a short list (not overwhelming) and tackle it. Doing something I enjoy like knitting or cooking (even it it doesn't feel like I'm going to enjoy it, I usually do once I start).

Good idea, let's all get out there in the garden and do some weeding, even if it's just a metaphorical garden!

Create a day spa experience in your own home. Groom yourself, brush your hair, get some special oils and lotions. Invest in a comfy robe, and take a nice bath. Give yourself a massage on your legs, thighs and tummy or face. Do your nails, etc...
