I've recently met the most wonderful man, caring, patient...shy and lovely, just perfect really. Yet I'm extremely aware that I am poison. I have been involved in prostitution for a few years now, and although I think he knows this, I haven't actually admitted it to him. I know he knows about my drug use, but yet I still insist on hiding it from him and sneak about behind his back.

I feel guilty letting him into the mess that is my life, I'm frightfully aware of how I'm likely to ruin him, ruin his innocence and loveliness. Frankly, he deserves better, but I’m being terribly selfish. It hurts me deeply to know that in relationships, I’m always the ‘problem’.

Trouble is, I think I love him......

if you are honest with him, its his decision to know or not know you. after a person turns 18 (in usa, 16 in uk) they are responsible to whatever they are or aren't.

I think it's wonderful to be able to fall in love. Is he worth changing your behavior for? You could have a good life with someone who cares about you if you really wanted it. I'd give anything for someone to love me.

If he is shy then he is unable to naturally express himself, this is an unhealthy trait, not a healthy one.

You are a human being, and ALL we humans have basic instincts, one of them is to be happy believe it or not, and you have found someone who influences you in that way, that a plus, not a minus.

Another basic instinct of ours is to love and be loved, surprise surprise you feel that way, nothing wrong with that then.

You have been a self abuser, in order to be so you would have suffered abuse in your past and therefore was conditioned to become. Prostitution is a form of abuse, generally it is associated with a lack of self worth and respect, again such traits were born in your past.

You are a CLASS ACT, you deserve the best in life, and now you are finally finding it out. Never look a gift horse in the mouth.
