Thank you for posting this link. If even one person sees this and finally moves out for good, it's worth all the effort that went into making the video.

Love that leaves you hurting and afraid is not love.

I grew up in a house like the one in the video and I was always afraid. The kids who leave homes like mine in their teens and never look back are the lucky ones.

I also grew up in a home exactly like the one in the video and it was horrible. I was always afraid of when my father would come home drunk and when my mother and him would get into it. I'd constantly hope that she would come home before he would because I'd be too afraid to be left alone with him because I hated who he'd become when he drank. He never did anything to me and my sister, but the state alone and what happened freaked me out enough. Thank god he doesn't live with any longer and it's been over with for years and we can try to fix the issues that we're left with now.
