Questions about fun and happiness.

What is fun to you? How do you integrate fun and joy? How do you avoid getting too caught up in recovering and integrate "living in spite of"?

I try very hard to integrate fun into my life, but it is hard!
I have fun painting, I have fun playing music. I have fun with my son, I have fun at the library, I have fun signing in the truck while I drive places!
I think for me it is easier to find appreciation then it is fun, I'm really not much fun! :P

I was fairly surprised by this because I am trying to figure out if what I do outside of my regular responsibilities are things that I actually consider fun, or if I am just filling up my time with more responsibilities. I am involved in several outside organizations. Sometimes it can be fun at the meetings, but it is also often more work for me. So, although I might have some laughs, i almost always walk away with more chores to do, as well. I guess I get a sense of accomplishment from doing this stuff, but I don't think I can honestly call it all fun. So where does that leave me? I enjoy the socializing aspect, but I am always thinking about what needs to be done. :(
