I would like people who are not disabled, to not judge by what they see. A person's disability is not always out in the open for people to see. I have met a lot of people who say to me that I am not disabled because I can walk, I am not in a wheelchair and other comments.

I have one for you a guy in a wheelchair says can't you get a job and work . Even people in wheelchair have problems with people withdisabilitys that can't be seen.

I would ask people to not be judgmental of others. I have to agree with Sacroadie. I am disabled, but to look at me you probably would not know it, (unless i'm having a bad day).

Also like what Penny721 and Shoshanah said. We are still people. We still have needs and wants, we have feelings like everyone else. In some ways I think those of us who are handicapped have more understanding and compassion for others.

You can't judge a book by it's cover. You could be smiling on the outside but crying on the inside.

I would like people to understand that not all disabilities are apparent to the eye. Some people have disabilities that cannot be seen but they are still disabilites just the same. PTSD for one , you cannot seen it or know a person has it, but it is there and it is just as disableing as the person in a wheel chair. Don't be so quick to judge a person who uses a disabled parking spot but does not use a wheel chair to get around in. Be mindful of the many non obvious disabilites that are out there.

I agree with all of you about not judging the disabled that isn't apparent to the eye. Nor judging those that is. Being heavy I think can be a disability too. In all judging someone for being different is a weakness that I feel needs to be overcome. God Loves us all. Thank GOD!!!
