Great bible quote,Riseandshine,Thank you.Beaumont,this is such an important subject you posted.We should never laugh at others.How would i feel if someone laughed at me and hurt me?We never know what is in our future and should show kindness to those who need it,not meanness and hatred.

I do like that Bible quote. I like it when religion is used to spread love and understanding. I find quite often it can, like many things, just be twisted to create division and hate between different groups (eg different religions, straight and gay, etc). It is lovely when someone uses it to bring people together and spread good messages. I am not religious myself. But I think it is good when people are, and they use it to stay strong or bring people together.

I find it really cruel when people laugh at others, or when they use words like "retarded", or "spaz". Some disabled people use them themselves. but I mean non disabled people who just say them in conversation without thinking what the origins of these words might be. We would never use the n-word in conversation, this has thankfully been eradicated, but why do we still use words which discriminate towards disabled people?

Most of the time I am pretty good about not judging appearance. It is only when I am stressed or upset that I get rather wiggy about stuff. Normally, I am okay, though.

But yea, it makes me really angry when folks pick on others for not being "what they are supposed to be."

I believe the Bible when it says "I am fearfully and wonderfully made" and it applies to all human beings, thank you.
