DS seems very slow and delayed reaction when posting / replying to a thread or post at the moment.
I use firefox browser, its usually ok here.
I'm not getting this problem on other websites.

I came on the computer 2 hours ago and when I first tried to sign in, I got a page with a message from DS apologizing for the inconvenience and promising to be back soon.
Trying to access it from an Email alert, I had better luck!!! I can get on, but it boots me off almost every time when I post something or try to go to a new page.
And I lose what I post too, when that happens!!! I've started copying everything I type right before sending, so I don't have to rewrite it if it doesn't 'take'.
Refreshing the page usually fixes the problem, but sometimes I have to do it three times before it works.
I'm using Chrome and, as you say, am having no problems at any other sites.

LOLOL!!!! Have you noticed the 'multiples' are starting to pop up again, here and there!!!? Methinks we're not the only 3 people having problems right now!!!
And as to these glitches only happening on the weekends when no one is around to fix them, do you mean as opposed to the WEEKDAYS when there's apparently no one around to fix them then, either, LOLOL!!!?!!
(Okay, they're better during the weekdays, but they STILL tend to drag their feet a bit!!!!)
Fixes are often implemented on evenings and weekends at big corporations, so WV may have hit the nail on the head. DS has a different business model where this same bug fix schedule makes less sense, if weekends see heavy use. Would be kind of fun to be able to pull "use or load" statistics.
But good news (WV) whatever else is going on, the status option on my profile is now working ok. yippee, I now have a choice of color for smiley face. :))

Sometimes, the page loads correctly, other times, not.
I'd complain, but that seems so fruitless.
You watch!!! Something will happen and I won't be able to get on at all and THEN I'll be sorry I didn't complain, LOL!!!!

sometimes when I get the blank page I refresh the page and then get a loaded page.
Sometimes when I post I get the blank page again, refresh the page again and sometimes the page fully loads, sometimes not.
Sometimes it takes 3 attempts at refreshing the page.
Keeping fingers crossed this one will post.

Took me three tries to load my avatar!
In the past, when I was lurking, I didn't have any troubles loading pages. Hope I didn't break anything ;)
