(AP) A man wanted in the slayings of his parents who were found stabbed to death Monday was arrested after a day-long manhunt in Northern California, authorities said.David Wilson, 60, and Adrianne Chapin, 66 were pronounced dead soon after they were discovered at their home Monday morning by Wilson's brother.Sonoma County Sheriff's Sgt. Cecile Focha said the brother also reported seeing the couple's son, Nathan Alexander Wilson, on the property covered in blood.Nathan Alexander Wilson, who lived on his parents' property, was arrested in Redwood Valley, a community north of Ukiah in Mendocino County, after a caller reported seeing his pickup truck.Detectives also recovered the weapon that might have been used in the attack, Focha said.The couple struggled to help their son and his sister over the years, troubles that their mother shared with friends at the women's spiritual circles she attended, Jane Eagle, Chapin's friend, told the Santa Rosa Press Democrats reports ( )."She was tied up in knots about her kids," Eagle said.According to Eagle, Chapin said that Nathan was doing better following a few difficult years that included hospitalization for mental health issues."She'd bring them to the hospital and of course they'd let them go," Eagle said.
