Should We ask Yahoo to have over 18 Answers for adult content questions?
I would love it if Yahoo gave adult content questions their own place. I don't necessarily think that kids need one place and http://Jenni-Lee.blogtur.com - Jenni Lee - adults need another, its just that the adult questions need to be filtered out of the rest of the questions and put somewhere else. Its great that you can ask ANYTHING on Answers, but there are times when I don't want to see all the mature content - and I'm old enough to see it! Like, at work, I like to ask and answer technical questions, but I hate that the main page shows mature content and mature content can still be categorized. ...Then once I get home, I like to post and answer ALL kinds of questions. And kids DON'T need to see EVERYTHING that's here. I think any question with mature words or asterisks in it needs to default to its own category where you have to accept that you are over 18 and want to see it before you ever see it. As for asking Yahoo to accomplish this task, I believe it would be an effort in futility. I think if Yahoo had found the means to do this already, they would have done so. Users have been issuing this complaint since Answers first started up. And the Answers team is probably swamped with reported users that wouldn't have been reported if such a system was in place. It would be in Yahoo's best interest to take care of the problem, but to me the fact that they haven't says that they CAN'T. ...So hey Yahoo Staff...I don't think you can do it! I dare you! I double dare you! ...Okay, that's the end of my rant on the issue.
