Or, you can issue a fast one-two series of punches to the face and step back. Always assume that the person is inept at fighting, and will blindly flail their arms at you till they hit. It is imperative that you assess what your punches have actually done to your opponent. It is important that you strike in multiple areas of the face, especially after you have stunned your opponent with your first few hits.

People who have any training in martial arts have usually learned some kicking techniques. You may get hurt if you do a lot of kicking. That's why it should not be done on the street but practiced in the dojo only. You might try a roundhouse kick, but this is usually reserved for people who practice and know what they are doing. You stand in next one chance of getting hurt even if you are skilled at doing kicks. Kicks are just not the smart thing to do in a street fight. It is a good idea to throw a low kick, especially at the knee or shin. You will have to use your best judgment, especially when throwing kicks during a street fight.
