Today I intend to educate you about something that is most important in a mealSALT.

Salt has forever been and continues to dispensable to life as not only taste enhancer but also as a food preservative. But, did you know how much danger it can cause if not consumed carefully?
Let me begin by listing the various types of Salt-

1. Sea salt-Sea salt which is basically unrefined salt derived from seawater through the process of evaporation or from rock salt. It can be thicker than normal table salt we mostly use. It is harvested in almost all places in the world, but there are a few exceptions.

2. Himalayan salt-100% natural and unrefined, this salt is harvested only in the foothills of the Himalayas and is basically solidified sea salt. The magnesium particles lend it a gorgeously sweet pink color. It is very rich in iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper and iron.

3. Iodized Table saltOur best friend in the kitchen. It is called Iodized because it is formulated with iodine that helps in fighting from different type of diseases like Hypothyroidism or Goiter.

4. Pickling salt-Used mainly in pickles as it sticks excellently well to food but, since it is not iodized it cannot replace the table salt.

5. Kosher salt-This salt is called kosher salt because it is used in preparation of kosher meat. It has much larger, irregular-shaped, and thicker crystals.

6. Black salt-This salt has a pinkish-grey color and it is also popularly known as Himalayan black salt. It is mined in India and contains a strong sulfuric smell. It is commonly used to add zing to spicy food and also used as medicine for indigestion.

The dangers of consuming excess Salt:
Here I list some critical issues which can be caused by excess salt intake, please note:

When you eat too much processed foods, or kindly sprinkle salt on meals, renders you at a higher risk of developinghypertension, also known as high blood pressure.

Causesobesity.

Salt in excess leads to high blood pressure, which is a huge risk factor for stroke.

Damages the arteries which later sees them becoming completely blocked or even burst thus, causing aheart attack.

Stomachcancer, which is the third leading cause of cancer death in the whole world.

Hence, too much salt can ruin your life completely. So, be conscious towards your health and take salt in proper quantities. I wish you all to be always healthy and wealthy. Do say this to yourself often-I Am Happy Today!
