New Gym Offers Fresh Approach to Fitness Training

Bethel Fitness and Wellness Center held its grand opening last month for their newly renovated gym and wellness center. Owner Tracy DeLuise, a U.S. Army Veteran of Operations in Bosnia, is a licensed massage therapist and certified personal trainer.Originally from the Bronx, the mother of three said opening the gym is one of her dreams. The Bethel resident said helping members reach their goals is her mission. Using her military training in her classes, DeLuise offers a fresh approach to training by combining a tough boot camp style of teaching with a bit of nurturing to motivate members.Here at Bethel Fitness you really feel at home. Bethel Fitness is definitely welcoming and inclusive, DeLuise said.Located in the former Private Studio Fitness building at 120 Greenwood Ave., DeLuise has expanded the studio and is offering more classes, nutrition counseling and massage. DeLuise will continue to provide free memberships to 95 local combat veteran members of Operation Vet Fit.What makes this place different from other area gyms?
