Hugh Jackman To Host 2014 Tony Awards

He won an Emmy for his hosting work in 2004, and a nomination for his hosting duties the following year. In addition, Jackman hosted the 81st Academy Awards to great acclaim in 2008. Despite his movie star cred, Jackman is also a dedicatedand decoratedtheater performer. He won a 2004 Tony Award for best actor in a musical for The Boy From Oz, and a Special Award in 2012 to honor his achievements as a performer and humanitarian. His last appearances on The Great White Way were in 2009, when he starred in the play A Steady Rain with Daniel Craig, and 2012, when he headlined the stage show Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway, for a limited run.
