We got the treatment and everything was fine, we have nothing bad to say about the staff. But we were shocked at this.A spokesman for the hospital last night admitted there had been a blunder. They said: We would like to apologise to the couple concerned for the upset caused. This was a genuine error with a digital TV channel having been on which, between 2am and 3am, broadcasts material of an adult nature. If our staff had been made aware then they would have changed the channel immediately.

The blunder is not the first time pornography has been broadcast at an NHS unit.In 2011 it emerged children at Birmingham Childrens Hospital had access to blue movies on their bedside TVs.Three porn channels including Babestation were left unblocked on a paediatric assessment unit.A dad discovered the gaffe as he rocked to sleep his newborn son, who was receiving treatment for a chest infection. The hospital said it immediately fixed the problem and had blocked the channels from being screened again.Related articles
