Affirmation for January 4, 2011: Small Goals, Big Goals

Why just one-month?
Because the truth is, new year's resolutions are notorious for falling to the wayside. By making a smaller goal, something that helps your new year's resolution, and concentrating on sticking to that smaller goal for just one month, you might just find yourself sticking to it for another month... and another...
They say it takes 21 days to establish a habit, so a one-month goal makes perfect sense! So along the lines of Dale Carnegie's quote, do your best with your one-month goal by joining the Member Group and letting us know what it is. Keep us up to date by starting a "Check-In Thread of Accountability" where you check in every time your exercise, or with the foods you eat, to keep yourself accountable. Great tip, I use small steps in everything I do. How do people walk great distances? Place one foot out in front, then the other...and repeat.
