It's time we give just due to our favorite authors and why we love them. In this game, you simply quote favorite phrases, sentences, or a short paragraph from books you love. Be sure to put the author's name and the name of the book so they get their "credit". You may also make a short comment on why you like the particular entry so much. You may also comment on other person's entries in a positive manner if something strikes you as very good.
The last two are optional, of course. I will begin with an example:
"Sometimes I feel like the big possum who has been coming into our driveway lately, worried and waddly. I hear that the stress hormones possums produce are off the charts." ~ Anne Lamott - Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith (I liked this for two reasons...possum is a nickname a dear friend gave me online and I've had it for years, and because I feel a little worried and waddly!)
