My boys are 9 turning 10...Currently they sleep in the same room. 1 climbs into bed with other each night. He is trying not to but it is hard for both of them. In the summer we are planning on making a room so that they will be next to each other but in seperate rooms. If they end up climbing in with each other at night when they are 10 is that ok? They need their own space at this point because of learning about their bodies..if you know what I mean. My worry is that they need to be individuals...they can't sleep in the same bed when they are teenagers..or worst as adults!!! I want to make their individual transition now so that they can live without each other later. Would I be put in the bad parent category if I enforce the sleeping in your own bed rule?
