Sorry about your dog, thats horrible, hopefully he will come back home I had a dog that did that we looked all over for him for days even put out flyer's, he eventually wandered back home, dirty and muddy but happy, lol.

hi ambianceangel, i know when i need to talk to my husband about something important i usually end up talking about everything but what i wanted to say. usually because i don't want to start an argument or hurt say something that will hurt his feelings.

Yes I do that too, talk about other things to put off saying what I really want to say. It's because it's so important to me that it makes me nervous.
Is your dog back yet? Last time my dog took off, I went round and round the neighbourhood calling up people's driveways and went back home ready to call the pound and there she was at the front door waiting for me, like "where on earth have YOU been Mum?"

No I have not found my dog yet I hope she comes home the last time she ran away she was only gone for 15 hr. But it has been 1 day and 3 hr. And yeah it's like i dont want to hurt his feelings so i beat around the bush. Why do we do that oh beacuse we dont want our man mad or upset dam i hate this. That's so scary that your dog hasn't come home in over a day! Have you gone to your local animal shelter? Check the county pound first. You have to go down there, because they rarely give you accurate information over the phone. My brother lost his dog and the pound insisted that the dog wasn't there every time he called. Three days later, I told him to go over there. The dog had been there the whole time.

Also, you can put ads with pictures of your dog on Craigslist, in both the lost and found section and the pet section. Check the SPCA and veterinarian offices, too. Is he microchipped? If you get him back, you should get him microchipped. That makes the rate of return much better. Also, put a collar on him with your phone number on it. I've returned several dogs I found wandering the streets because they had their owners' phone number on their collar.

On the topic of your guy, I guess I'm a pretty straight forward person. But I do choose my words carefully to avoid hurting people I love. It helps if you talk about what you need, rather than what he is doing wrong.
