I have been searching for a support group and today I came across this site. I have read some other posts and it feels good to know there are others going through this. I am the mother of 3 ages 9,7, and 2. I have been married to an alcoholic for 3 years. It has been a rough road to say the least. He is a daily drinker and there have been times of sobriety. We recently had a talk and he is trying to only drink on the weekends. He made it all last week without a drink and even admitted that he felt better not drinking. Sunday however I came home from the store around 3 and he was wasted. One step forward 2 steps back. I am here to share my story in hopes that it will help others. I am a strong person and I refuse to let this addiction rule my life. I will stand firm in my faith and be the light in this dark place. I look forward to getting to know all of you.
