I am in the middle of refinancing my house. Today, I received a call from an appraiser wanting access to my house. He came on the line as if he was my best friend and had known me for years. Before I could say much, he said, "How bout if I come by at noon tomorrow." I explained that I work 26 miles from the house and could meet him at 4pm. He started laughing and said, "Now that wouldn't make sense would it.... to be in traffic at that time of day? Know what I mean?" I said, "No." Because this guy was acting like my old buddy and I didn't like. He then said, "Well, let me just say, I do appraisals from 10a-3p and I need to be at my desk at that time of day working up appraisals." Wow, what nerve.
That brings me to the point of this discussion. Do you think people try to take advantage of us because we are alone? Let me just add - I am no pushover!

First, Id like to thank everyone for being so welcoming, kind and helpful. I start Lamotrigine tomorrow and after reading some side effects in a post I'm (more) nervous. I was wondering other experiences people have had with this medication, the good and the bad.Any feedback would be appreciated!

Hey everyone, I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 on Friday and I'm really nervous about how a new medication will effect me. Any support regarding med effects (pros and cons) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Possibly I get less as I'm a guy but I seen people use a similar approach to my various spouses.
