When I met my husband...like most of you here..I was younger, prettier, thinner, vibrant, active, and energetic. We got comfortable together and time passed. I gained some weight when he died but I am ready to lose it. I have been on the 17 day diet for a few days and thought to announce it as it will help me stay on track. I am taking my life back starting with losing weight. What would you do to take your life back?

I saw it online and read a bit..but honeslty was confused! Putit into easy words for me!
Do you buy their foods? Or do you buy foods on your own? Is it expensive or hard to follow? What are the meals like?
I lost about 15 lbs within 6 weeks of Frank's passing.; And then i joined (Huh....rejoined!!) Weight Watchers and have lost another 15 lbs. ..a total of 30 in almost 7 months. (let's just say that he and I enjoyed travel and dining out at nice resturants!)
I am interested in the 7 day diet!
* Do the house upgrades we deferred for the last two years while she was sick.
* Work, since I like the work and the friends are great.
* Yes, lose 20 pounds.
* Travel to see my grandkids, as much as possible.
* Go to sea on a sea test (work related).
* Travel (which she also wanted to do - bittersweet) but maybe to different places than we would have done together.
* Sail a lot.
In two years take stock.
I'm reinventing myself and it's fun.
I'm older now, and more content with my own company, so i'm looking forward to seeing what life has in store (although with terror at times).

I am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up!
I want to learn Spanish, but afraid it would just set me up for failure.
After going through this journey, it makes one feel as if they need to do something with their life, other than just exist!
Good luck on your dieting!

2) Clean up clutter in house/place to make things easier for me
3) finish bathroom that was apart/ small things never finished in kitchen remodeled 2 yrs ago (was one thing w/hubby that drove me nuts)
4) Work part time, I like people I like working
5) TRY hard not to stress and worry so much
Getting new clothes was a more succesful attempt - oh and having a new routine of going into Oxford also helped.

I still feel like I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I keep starting that book, then procrastinate some more.
Still missing my compass. Trying to steer myself still sends me around and around in circles sometimes. It's my aweful sense of direction...I think..
